Welcome to the Kensico School Nurse's Office!
Section 903 of the Education Law has been amended so that annual physical examinations are now required of students in grades K, 2, 4, 7, and 10, and anyone entering the school district for the first time. Please note that Section 903 of the Education Law includes those students entering Kindergarten. Valhalla UFSD will follow this procedure; however, we strongly urge that parents of children in grades not noted above continue the practice of annual physical examinations with the family physician.
STUDENTS ARE NOT TO CARRY ANY MEDICATION FOR SELF ADMINISTRATION except for asthmatics who use inhalant bronchodilators (The Medicine Administration form below should be completed by parent and physician and must be on file in the Nurse's Office).
MEDICATION MUST BE DELIVERED TO THE SCHOOL AND TAKEN HOME BY A PARENT OR GUARDIAN ONLY – THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS – THIS IS SCHOOL DISTRICT POLICY.
